Cristina Mangue Abeso Becomes Equatorial Guinea´s First Delegate to Macau Forum

 

Cristina Mangue Abeso has becomes Equatorial Guinea´s first Delegate to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

Abeso began her duties on 30 November, following the accession of Equatorial Guinea to the Macau Forum, which took place at the Extraordinary Ministerial Meeting of April 10, 2022.

Until recently, she was General Director of Lusophone Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and National Coordinator of the CPLP at Ambassador level.

Equatorial Guinea to become Forum Macao’s 10th member nation

Abeso holds a master’s degree in international law. Since 2003, she has successively held positions as Equatorial Guinean Diplomat at the Embassies in Russia, Brazil and Portugal.

The new delegate was also a diplomat at the General Directorate of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Deputy Head of Protocol and Public Relations at the National Office of Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Protocol Officer in the Prime Minister’s Office.
