Portugal-China SME Chamber of Commerce to Finance Expansion to Chinese E-Market

 

The Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce, Small and Medium Enterprises (CCPC-PME), has obtained public financing to support the entry of Portuguese companies into the Chinese digital market.

“This project is characterized by the deep knowledge that CCPC-PME has of the Chinese market in general and the provinces included in the plan of activities”, the chamber says in a statement.

The financing obtained allows the participation of up to a total of 72 Companies, for the 2021-2023 period, with a total investment of EUR 332,120.00, which will be shared by the Portugal 2020 funding mechanism.

“The project envisages carrying out a set of prospecting actions and roadshows, the development of a solution that allows participating companies to be present in the thriving Chinese Digital market”, CCPC-PME adds.

According to the chamber, the project methodology is based on a principle of Blended Contact, acting simultaneously in the digital and physical channels, to accelerate the process of converting opportunities into effective sales. The investment execution period runs until 2023-06-30.

CCPC-PME has 89 active members, 47 in Portugal and 42 members in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. During this initial period, it has established 14 points of representation in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Macau, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan Office, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shanxi.
