Chinese Project to Provide Jobs for Youth in Angola

The chairman of the board of directors of the “Cidade da China” shopping center in Luanda, Jack Huang, plans to make around 34,000 job vacancies available in new projects.

In the first phase, there will be a total of 4,000 job positions available for young unemployed people this year, managed by the National Youth Council and guaranteed by the “Cidade da China”, Huang agreed with the leader of organization, Isaías Kalunga.

At the meeting, Jack Huang, Chinese businessman and owner of the African Sunrise group, with a chain of stores in Angola, announced that the future Funda Industrial Park in Cacuaco, which will open next year, will employ another 30,000 people.

Isaías Kalunga also informed that a partnership will be formalized with companies linked to Jack Huang, starting with the Nova Era shopping center,which will provide job vacancies, partnerships with young entrepreneurs, as well as policies for scholarships and opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

“We can produce jobs directly, create conditions for young entrepreneurs with spaces in the Nova Era shopping center in Cacuaco, where rents will be much lower, as well as create policies to make goods available and, within a timeframe that will be agreed, make a return”, Jack Huang stressed.
