Guinea-Bissau's presence at the 3rd China-Africa Cooperation Forum (FOCAC) in Beijing failed to raise funds for a series of projects it wanted to carry out, President Jose Maria Vaz said on his return to Bissau.

Equatorial Guinea, an important oil producer in the Gulf of Guinea region has been looking into formally applying for a membership at the Forum Macao. With this new addition, Forum Macao will have all the members of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries under one roof.
